In general, we’ve found that there are five different types of volunteer programs — and programs can be more than one type (for example, you can participate in a long-term conservation volunteer program).

Youtheon Volunteering Corps :
In a short-term volunteer program, volunteers provide service to a community on a short-term basis and/or focus on the cultural learning experience. These programs are not-for-profit. These days, intercultural placements make up the vast majority of volunteer programs.
